今天要來介紹的是一個來自於加拿大的樂團 是一個標準的雙吉他手配置五人制樂團

他們在2000年就已經正式出道  在這些日子裡已經推出了七張專輯

而第八張也即將在今年年底發行 算是一個相當資深的樂團

並且和另一個加拿大樂團Broken Social Scene有相當密切的合作

密切到Stars就像是Broken Social Scene的團中團一樣



Stars的風格偏向另類、獨立搖滾

而其獨立的概念在這首Alone中可以說是表露無遺

在現在這種"快速"的風潮下 音樂人都傾向把音樂做的短短的

用著重複或是抓耳的旋律 讓你在短時間建立起印象 然後就會忍不住一直repeat

或是花錢購買數位檔案 然後可能過了兩三天之後就覺得膩了 再也聽不下去

而這類音樂的總長都不會超過4分鐘 有的甚至還不到3分鐘 大幅減少了情緒堆疊

但這首Alone卻有著滿滿的誠意 作滿五分鐘的歌曲真的是少之又少了

而其獨立的風格更是在樂曲的尾段顯露了出來

雖然不能說是創新 但卻是在當前的流行音樂中很少見的了
