Paradise Fear 是來自於美國 南達科他州的五人樂團 鼓手則會有一個演場會夥伴負責

(以下簡稱PF)

他們的曲風標籤上是屬於另類搖滾 但也會和龐克團一同巡演 所以風格上不會和龐克差太遠

他們在2007年由一群高中同學組成 而後就和大多數的樂團一樣 做些COVER

在Youtube上累積人氣 等到人氣足夠後再發行EP 或專輯 

而Paradise Fear 在09年推出了第一張EP 10 11年也都有作品 而隨後逐漸嶄露頭角

也開始走出自己的風格 主唱的音色比較不龐克 所以並沒有冠上龐克團的標籤

主唱的音色比較柔和 也不會尖銳 再配上專門合音的吉他手的音色

和先前介紹過的 a great big world比較接近 溫暖的特色也和 Plain White T's 有幾分神似

而今天的這首Who We Were With 是PF在2015年四月的作品

如果PF之後真正大紅大紫 那肯定是因為這首歌的關係

如果樂團可以保持這麼高水準產出 前途無可限量啊

這種POP 帶有一點龐克風格 有點接近RAP演唱與歌詞 實在是蹦出了新滋味啊

這首歌其實背後是有故事的

在60年代 那個還比較不自由的時代 由雙方的家人決定自己的婚事的事情還是常有

男方女方在沒有愛情的基礎上成為夫妻

只能學著去愛在身邊的那個陌生人

甚至是被迫放棄原本愛人的人 會為自己的家庭產生怨懟

也無法在自由的去愛著原本的愛人

但在離婚還是一種違背道德的行為的那個年代 那完全不是個選項

就只能咬著牙 試著學會去愛著自己的伴侶

然後希望著真正的愛情能夠出現

這首歌聽起來並沒有真正去看歌詞後感覺到那麼多的黑暗

自由戀愛的年代果然是好的
