Matthew Mole 是個來自於南非的創作歌手 也因此有著不同於英美的腔調

但我不能說那就是南非腔 因為我根本分不出南非腔 所以只能用臆測的

畢竟不是母語 要分辨出為何地的腔調難度實在太高了 我倒覺得還有幾分像英國腔





Matthew的音樂大致上是走folk 但根據他自己的說法

他的民謠曲風是以電子音樂作為基礎 然後把民謠常用的樂器

像是班卓 吉他 鋼琴的等等 取代電子舞曲中的樂器

這讓他的音樂雖然是民謠 卻有著不同的層次 不同的碰撞

搭配著Matthew略微慵懶 出色的中音 把火花都撞了出來

這在今天推薦的這首歌是尤其明顯

光是前奏就很有感覺 然後試著把班卓琴的聲音替換成電音舞曲的旋律

就會覺得Matthew所言甚是

這首歌是在2013 年就推出 而收錄在2014年的專輯當中

來自南非 我不清楚當地的狀況 所以我也只能臆測了

Right 有太多意思 可以作為權利 右邊 正確

而在這首歌裡似乎全部都用上了

或許這首歌的創作是源自於南非的種族對立  

黑人長期被打壓 然後他就站在朋友的身旁 支持他們取得自己的權利

做對的事 站在對的一方
