相信有再聽西洋音樂的人對於Vance Joy都不會太陌生

尤其是他在2013年推出傳說等級的單曲 Riptide一炮而紅後

他已經成為炙熱的一線男歌手

Vance Joy 本名是 James Keogh 出生於澳洲墨爾本


令人訝異的是 他曾經是澳洲足球的職業選手 在俱樂部中踢了兩年

而後才把目標轉向歌手的道路

Vance Joy這個名稱的由來是源自於一本書中的角色

該角色正好就是一個很會說故事的人 和歌手的意涵相去不遠

再加上他本名的姓氏實在是容易被念錯 他便取了這個藝名

Fire and the Flood 收錄在第一張專輯Dream your life away的特別版之中

算是特別版追加的曲目 而也是 Vance第五波的主打歌

前面四首分別為 Riptide , Mess is mine , First time , Georgia
